EOD - Initial success or total failure
I live in Texas and we have a long way to go to catch up to Florida. We still can't carry in some critical places and the ability of the public businesses to keep us unarmed is frustrating. We also have not passed a "Castle Doctrine" law, but that may change soon!
I agree that compared to some places, Texas is OK, but there are some other states where it is much easier to own and carry a firearm.
