    Welcome from Wisconsin!

What is your duty weapon? If it's a Glock 22 then I suggest for off duty carry get a G23 or G27. The same holds true if you're carrying an M&P then get one of the compacts for off duty use. In most if not all cases the full size mags can also be used in the smaller counterparts. The mechanics are the same & all of the operational controls are in the same place.

    Stay safe!

Hi, from Music City, TN. As for weapons to use for off duty, and back up.

Glock 19, Glock 26 (backup), or M&P Compact 9. All in 9mm. Unless your department provides free ammo for practice.
