My love (let me say that different, my wife is my love), my passion is shooting and hunting with muzzleloaders.
I try to get to the range every week (dependent on weather) and shoot my conceal carry guns. I also like to shoot my M1 Garand, M1 Carbine and black rifles.
I thought I was a decent shot until I took classes at Self-Defense Firearms Training. All I can say is take some type of self defense class or pistol training class and apply what you learned into your range time.
Sorry for the long intro, I'll be lurking in the background.

I was into the old Smoke Poles from around 1984 thru 1994. At first I just shot the guns. Then I went to a few of the monthly blanket shoots.
Then I went to my first RENDEZVOUS in 1984. It was basically all over for me after that. By 1987 I had the Blackpowder Bug so bad and boy howdy was I glad there weren't no cure... One thing about Mountain Man accoutrements...they'll damn near last forever. My canvas tent is 26 years old and has NEVER LEAKED, no NOT ONCE. Back then it was called Marine Shrunk canvas. My newest poles are +/- 15 years old.
