after lurking around for a while it's finally time to introduce myself:
Mike, 29, just moved to the U.S. 8 Months ago... Although i am a US Citizen by birth, i lived the majority of my life in Germany. Kinda long story, US Army and some PCS are involved, but anyway: I finally moved "back" to the States. Oh, uhm: please be patient and forgive me if something i say doesn't make much sense: I'm still "re"learning the language :embarassed:
I live in Oklahoma and work as a C/O. I like to spend time at the range and getting tired of wasting money for rental guns. Working with Inmates taught me that there are a lot of BG's out there. I also had some encounters with some inmates family members... Just want to be prepared!
That's why i finally bought my own gun! A Walther P22... Yes, it's not the perfect gun and not the best choice for a carry gun, but i've shot that thing a couple of times at the range and i like it :). I think it's a good (and cheap) start to getting used to firearm safety and practice at the range, before i get my CCW. And, of course, the are more guns to come and they will be a bigger caliber :wink:
