Welcome. Either will work, and both are good choices for large pistols with the appropriate belt and holster combination. Sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and dig in. You'll soon realize from reading everyone's opinions you need a 1911, and snubbie revolver, a small single-stack 9mm like a Shield or XDs, a Colt Python, a CZ, and every Glock made numbering 17-whatever number they're on now...

    Cheers!

Both of those are exceptional ... presuming you can actually conceal them.

If you like both platforms, check the more-compact variants of both designs ... the G19 or G29, and the P239. Might be more suitable for concealment, given your body shape, wardrobe and concealment requirements.

If looking for alternatives, here is a search tool: Handgun Database Search @ Genitron.com.

First off Welcome to this awesome forum full of willing to help knowledgeable members! I have the Sig P226 also and currently use a White Hat Holsters Maxtuck IWB. It conceals better than my Smith & Wesson MP40 compact. I generally wear shorts and a tshirt so clothes are more tight then loose. Its all about the holster. Also if you wear the White Hat around your house for a few weeks and don't think you will be able to conceal the P226, White Hat will refund you or send you a free replacement kydex for your Glock! If you do end up going with a nice holster, just remember you need to also choose the right clothing that's comfortable while standing, sitting, driving etc. Good luck!

Edit: Yes I can conceal the P226 without printing, the holster/gun rest at about 4:30 on my waist. I have another kydex that White Hat is sending overnight for free for my Sig P239 to replace the MP40 kydex.
