Cool I have been a surgical RN for 15 years, a CCW holder for 6 years.

Before going to college I was an 18 D in the Army for 10 years. Uncle Sam and is GI Bill were kind enough to help with tuition. I have read a few of your topics from defensive carry and realized there are a lot of folks out there like me who believe in our 2nd amend. rights and believe we have the right and responsiblity to protect not only our self and our loved ones. Look forward to some interesting conversations. RN

Welcome to DC RN. I have an old pal from another site who goes by RN49. You guessed it he's an RN too.

Thanks for the welcome I have a question and I am looking for some feedback. I have been carrying a Glock 30 Sf for over a year but was thinking about getting a sig 229 in either 9mm or 357 sig. With I realize accuracy is EVERYTHING and the 9mm with good ammo is great but the 357 sig ballistics look great, that is if I can find any 357 sig ammo on a regular bases. I would wlcome any thoughts..

Thanks I appreciate that. If I had been told in high school that I would grow up and be a nurse I would have thought my life had take a terrible turn for the worst. Funny how the service can help us grow up and change our view.

    Welcome from Florida RN!

The P229 is a great pistol, you could always start reloading 357!
