    New Glock owner

New to the site and I love it. I've been doing a lot of research lately on IWB holsters and there are tons of reviews on here that have helped me.

Some background on me I'm a college student at UCF and I just got my first gun about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my Glock 23. I don't have my CCW permit yet but I plan on getting it soon. In the meantime I'm looking into some IWB holsters and gun belts and I could really use some advice. For holsters I'm looking at two holsters from Highnoon the down under and the tailgunner. I was wondering if anybody has any first hand experience with these.

Also I'm in need of a gun belt I would like it to be leather and from what I've found the ones from the Beltman look good. Does anybody have any suggestions on belts.

Incase anybody needs know I'm 6'0" 215 and I'm looking at carrying between 3-5 o'clock.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Welcome to the forum. I have a Glock 23 and I carry it IWB in the high noon down under. I actually have 3 high noon down unders for my other guns as well. They are great holsters. The only down side is the price is a little bit high. I got sick of buying holsters and throwing them in my sock drawer. Once I went to high noon, I never throw the I n the drawer anymore. Spend some money on your holster, that is my advice. There are plenty of great ones out there, but I would invest a little so you can avoid the perpetual search for a decent holster.

Welcome to the forum. And best wishes for finding a good holster that fits and that you really like! I've been fortunate with the ones I have and except for one or two over the years have kept and used all that I've bought. From what I read that is a very good percentage............

    Welcome from StL!

Go ahead and buy at least one of everything. That way you will have a good start on being like the rest of us in having a box full of retired holsters, each of which was the last holster we'd ever have to buy! :-)
