Hi, pleased to make everyone's acquaintance on this forum.
I'm a new CCH holder in Mecklenburg County, NC since December 2013 as well as having been a prior CCH holder in NJ (yes, I know, did you say NJ??). Although I am currently a VP in the IT banking industry, I used to be an armed Essex County constable in NJ for approximately 5 years. It has been about 16 years since I last carried and I have to admit that it feels darn good to carry again. I am also a US Navy veteran assigned to the Naval Security Forces at (now extinct) Naval Air Station Alameda, CA. I carry a Bersa BP9CC (9mm).
Look forward to having some good interaction with all of you. God bless America.

Hi asanabia68! Welcome to the forum from Texas. This is a great place to learn and to share! I was born and raised in NJ and owned several firearms when I lived there, but never carried. Thank God, I escaped that state and I've been carrying in Texas since 2005. Congrats on carrying again and keeping you and your loved ones safe. And thank you for your service to our country.

Welcome from S. FL. I grew up in CLT and agree that you need to carry there. The roads there drive me nuts when I visit.
