    Hello from Upstate NY

    Hi, I am new to the forum which was suggested to me by my stepfather. I attended my first CCW class yesterday to get a Utah license, as I have done the majority of my target shooting here. I have never been affiliated with the police or the armed services, but have great respect for both. I wanted to be a CCW license holder since I feel it is important to protect yourself and those around you whenever you can. I have moved around a lot for school and anticipate having to move and drive cross country again so having a firearm gives an added level of safety.

    I'm looking forward to learning from all of you in regards to carrying a concealed weapon as well as what weapon is best to own. As I have grown up I have been shooting only my relatives guns and feel that now it might be time for me to purchase my own. That is another reason that I have been making the extra effort now to obtain the CCW licenses.

    Yeah, he's a member as well, he goes by ltc-usa. He's passed along a lot of the knowledge that he's gained from here to me and figured I should get on here for myself as well. I'm looking foward to being more active in the CCW community.
