    Hi from Ohio

    Hi Everyone,

I just heard about this site on another concealed carry forum I frequent, and thought I would stop in.

I've been carrying concealed since shortly after the law was passed in Ohio - so since mid-2004.

Sigs are my "flavor" of choice, but it seems every handgun I shoot; Sigs, Glocks, S&W, the XD's - I walk away saying, "Wow, I like that, I need one of those too!

I try to take some kind of formal firearms training every year. Last year I completed the Sig Armorer certification.

My other interest in life is motorcycles, and I'm surprised at how many riders I've met that also have a concealed carry license/permit.

Looking forward to meeting new folks here and I imagine I'll run into a few I know from other motorcycle or firearms sites.

    Be safe,

    Mick

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Sigs are a great handgun, I favor Colts myself. This is a great forum. What kind of cycle do you ride?

Hey OldMick, Sold my Goldwing and haven't replaced it yet. Am looking at a Valkyrie that a buddy has. I know it's not a Harley!

Welcome from your own hometown. Let me know if you need a good shop in your area! (no, its not the one with the public range)

Yeah, I guess I shoulda added I'm from down round the Nasty Nati too, cept when school is in session. Whats wrong SIXTO, don't like overpriced everything at the indoor range?

Lots of good info on this forum, always glad to have another Buckeye aboard.

I feel the same about bikes as I do guns - I pretty much like all of 'em. A guy I rode with several years ago had a Valkyrie and we swapped once - Yikes, that thing's a monster! Lots and lots of torque - I like 'em.

I like my Heritage because it's easy to do most of my own scheduled maintenance - same kind of therapy for me as cleaning and detail stripping handguns, I guess.

Welcome from Dayton. I love guns and bikes. Got several guns, and an old homebuilt Harley Chopper. Fun to ride, but I'm getting old and don't like the long forks much anymore.
