Hello from Michigan's 2nd biggest city (not sayin a whole lot with that I guess
).
Former ammo-humper for Sam's flyboys.
Been out of shooting for about 12 years or so. Now the freshly single dad of 5 girls, so I decided it's time to get back into one of my favorite activities. The ex took up with the wrong crowd so I thought it was as good a time as any to look into this concealed carry thing that's become much easier here.
Took my CPL class in Feb. Put in my application 2 weeks ago, so I'm looking at having my visit with the gun board next month.
Joined USPSA and IDPA. We have both at a big local club. Looking forward to both.
Big fan of S&W, especially the 3rd-gen autos. Have owned a 1911 in the past and liked it also. Picking up my first revolver this Friday, a 642.
I've spent the last few months lurking here and gaining a lot of knowledge. This place is excellent.
Thanks much,
Dale
