Gun addict needs help with storage
Great forum, saw some great posts and pictures all great reading all ready. Iv'e been carrying about 30 years now. My biggest problem is I'm running out of room in my safe. I think I need help, I just bought a Sigma 9ve today and last week I bought a 1911sc. The wife gave me a funny look last week and said your up to 2 guns a month again. So thinking quick I said well you just spent 4 grand on a living room set. [I should have shut my mouth]She retorted that's nothing compared to what you spend and you just bought a new car and all ready have a new truck. My defense for that was my dog sheds so bad you won't get in the truck with me. So I'm going wrap up the Sigma in a fancy wrapped box and give it to her for a Easter present with some flowers. I guess we all have that problem with the wife once in a while haha.

Welcome Bugs
That sounds like a great Easter present!!
I have your problem too - safe is over loaded and most long arms have to live outside of it - even added extra shelves for handguns! But - just keep re-arranging and you'll find in the end you can accomodate more than you think... perhaps!
Or not!
I really need a #2 safe but - nowhere to locate it!

Welcome Bugs, I tried that once. I bought my wife a Taurus Model 85. She liked having her own gun but didn't like shooting it because it was loud, kicked and the "fire" scared her. I sold it a while back to kick in on one of my Kimbers.
When I bought my Nighthawk (while she was out of town), I worked all day in the yard and another day cleaning up the house and she didn't object at all. It worked so well I am paranoid she is planning on buying something big...

QKShooter, I posted a review for you about my new SS 1911 S&W in general discussions. It's a great pistol I was really impressed. It can't be beat for the money and S&W's warrenty and service is the best I've seen.
