Greetings from the soggy side of WA State!

    Good morning all,

A new guy here from the rainy state of Washington, in the greater Seattle area (eastside).

I have after 25 years decided to become armed again. I have just gotten my CCP (here in WA it's called a License to Carry a Concealed Pistol).

My wife and myself have just completed a Handgun Safety course (not required for CCP, but required for myself.) And am going to take another one next month.

I was a K-9 (drug dog handler) in the USAF 25 years ago, and haven't carried since getting out.

I just purchased a Remington Wingmaster 12-guage shotgun, and a Beretta 92FS handgun. Been to the range at least twice a week so far, and am planning on at least once a week.

That's it for me, glad to be aboard!

    Thanks!
    Greg

Thank you for the warm welcome! I spent several months in Kentucky (winchester) going to school there. It really blew me away that the grass was actually BLUE! :)

    Thanks!

I live in Maple Valley and work in Redmond\Bellevue. Where do you shoot? From your first post, I am guessing that you and the wife took handgun safety at Wade's. Firearms Academy of Seattle (FAS) also has great local facilities and instructors.

    Welcome !!!

I live in Redmond and work in Bellevue. I have been shooting at Wades so far. Hoping to try out others.
I also need to find a place to shoot the shotgun. The only shotgun ranges I've found around here don't allow SD shells, only 7 1/2's and light target rounds. Any idea if there is a place that allows more flexibility?

    Thanks!
    Greg

    Welcome
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
