I stumbled across DefensiveCarry.com as I began my research on a new concealed firearm. I currently have a sig 226 but I am thinking about something lighter. With the warmer weather, I need something that I can pocket carry in shorts.
Anyway, I have already found this site to be a tremendous resource.

Congratulations on your first step into concealed carry! Welcome to the forum!

I'm also from Nevada (down here in Henderson). Welcome to the board, and congrats on your pending CFP. The good news is that the CCW detail is catching up and it should only take 45 days or so to get your permit.
The bad news (if you're in Clark County) is that you get to go have your fingerprints done at the same place that prints the strippers, convicts, etc. Don't make friends at the fingerprint detail. :)
