Mjolnir here, not the Mjolnir there
Just a bit of clarification... I've introduced myself here before. I'm from the Salt Lake City, Utah area. I'm Mjolnir on a couple of other sites too.
But I was looking at OpenCarry.com, thinking to join up there. And then I noticed a post from a "Mjolnir."
OK, says I to myself, "I'll have to choose another name if I want to join." Then I got thinking, "Hey, maybe I ought to tell people in DefensiveCarry.com that I am NOT the Mjolnir in OpenCarry.com. So here I am doing that. I don't have anything against that person (except I wanted to use that name -- lol). I just don't want anyone confusing us.
At home, I carry openly. When I'm out and about, I carry concealed. I have nothing against open carry, and I'm fine with those who do, but my choice is concealed carry.
I have carried openly a few times (little more than a handful of times) in the last five years. Having the Utah CFP I'm legal doing that. One of the benefits of legal open carry here is that if my firearm prints or shows, not a problem, I'm still legal. Still, my choice is to carry concealed, and in that case I do want my concealed firearm to STAY concealed.
I agree wholeheartedly with Bumper about no CC vs. OC threads. No use getting mad at each other.
Sorry, I'm not much of a poster at times. But I do really enjoy and learn from the things I read here. Thanks to Bumper and those who help him. I'm glad to be a part of this forum.
