Welcome Bruto from a fellow Vermonter. Not many of us here in the forum. I don't live there right now because I am in the service and stationed in Florida right now, but I am from Lincoln (South of Burlington, North of Middlebury). I don't know exactly where you can get the info you are looking for, but I know you will find it here, or someone who can get it for you.

--- Some of the friendliest people I have ever talked to are gun owners and shooters and according to the gun activists we are the mass murders and felons of the nation???
My old college roomie lives in Windsor with his family. When he got married I gave him a Ruger 44 carbine as a wedding present. He's still got it and they've been married 25+ years.
He wants to know if Vermont is one of the states with a modified "Castle Doctrine" that precludes civil suit in the event of a justifiable shooting inside the home. Apparently there has been a rash of burglaries of occupied homes and one happened pretty near to him. This is a former Artillery officer and he's been to Ranger school, so I'm not worried about an encounter. We just want to know the potential for civil suit. Do you know by chance? I looked all over the web last night and couldn't find a thing.
