Hi there from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I've been around for awhile on this site. I'm located in the middle on the North Shore with Lake Superior my Northern neighbor. Most of the ranges around here are old gravel pits. No real rules and they are free.

There are quite a lot of us. Just not on gun forums. Most have CPLs to bypass the purchase permit for handguns or to be able to have a truck gun. I am probably one of the 1% that carries all the time where legal. Right now I'm at school (Finlandia) so I can't carry, but I got a GP100 and G30 in my truck. I go shooting at MI Tech's indoor range in the basement of the SDC. I'll be there Sunday. The practical pistol club (basically IDPA) meets there Thursday 5-8pm and Sunday 1-5pm. We have matches and such. Open to the public. Unfortunately I was the only one that showed up on Sunday and couldn't get a hold of anyone, which both are very unusual.
