Hi all, name is Dan and I just found this site and thought I's check it out. I'm 51 and a retired police officer and am looking at getting into competitive shooting with IDPA and IPSC. Don't know much about it but it looks like fun. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 10, but the back is now shot and the Doc said no more motorcycles, so thought I'd get back into shooting. Looking at getting a 1911 for competition and CCW. Currently have a Ruger P89 9mm but am thinking about upgrading to something bigger (any excuse for a new toy!).
Well, that's pretty much it. Hope to find some interesting things on the site.
Pennsylvania greetings ....... and thank you for your public service. Sad about having to quit biking but hey - shooting is good therapy
