Thanks for the welcome, everyone...I have explored many gun forums, found a few that are good, but this one is 5-stars! Hope to be able to contribute, from time-to-time.

Welcome Liberty I am Real familiar with Bent County myself . Watch out for Tiny down there in Hasty and an ol boy named Laney in L.A. Both of them are un repentant reprobates LOL . Ol Cliff Smart isnt too bad a fella either tho there is some friction between him and them .

Hello there, Redneck Repairs - I just landed here this past Aug. Cliff Smart is one of those elusive characters I've been trying to get ahold of. Been by his store many, many times, but he ain't never there. Haven't run into Tiny or Laney, tho I do know one guy in Hasty. Got my ccw from Sheriff Oyen this past Dec.

Nice to make your acquaintance. I was a redneck myself, once. Some say I still am. Others say you can't be a redneck and graduate from Ole Miss. Me, I ain't so sure about that. My daddy still thinks I am, so I probably am.

Just settling in here, got a good feel to the place. I lived in the Delta, so the plains suit me just fine. Thanks for the welcome.

Lib .. Drop me a pm .. Not only is this unsuitable for public , but i am on meds and would appreciated some privacy .... but ill hook you up in bent county with the good guys , the bad , the indeferant , and explanin why you have likely have allready heard of me ( you can make up your own mind on that ) . lol . I am what i am , and that wont change a git , but comeing from NJ you could likely stand to meet some folk from bent CO . ( If your compleatly content with the folk you have met so far never mind ) . Oh and Just as an Aside Cliff has the shop open when he is not serving as enployee out out ft lyon . Laney has much more time being retired lol . as stated both are fine folk , just at odds . I have family in LA and if you want next time i am there i will invite you to the " he man woman haters club " so you may meet the premiere gun trader of la . your call . Honestly tho put on your bib overalls , take off your education ( he is no dummy , and his wife had degrees ) put away all pretenses , and ill intruduse you to a fella who not only lives in your town but once you get past the bs thinks deeper than either than us ... well the rest of it is for pm .. It wont bee this weekend anyway ... maby next and that is looking in feb .

Welcome to the board and to the state.

I relocated from Wayne NJ to Colorado Springs myself and have not looked back.

The only advise I can give you is.."TRY TO FORGET NJ FOOD."

    Much different living here.
