    New Guy from Texas

    Just thought I'd introduce myself. I moved to Texas a couple of years ago from the Chicago area. As this is the first place I've lived that allowed concealed carry, I've spent the intervening time convincing my wife that it was something I should do. She's now on board and I'm getting the fundage together for the class, license, and gear necessary (not to mention ammo and additional training).

    I hope to be a fully licensed citizen by late spring (we're coming up hard on Easter which is a busy time for me, so it'll take a while to get there).

    Good ole Missouri... spent about 8 years there, but it was before they voted in concealed carry. In fact, I voted for it the first time around when it got shot down.
