Hi Ya' from Ohio.
Names Chris, got introduced to this forum by Jester in December "07. Spent an afternoon shooting with him and his Dad, good folks.
I'm 34, married for six years with a 3 y.o. son. Spent six years in Uncle Sams Yacht Club, worked for a company in africa for a year afterward, then came back to Ohio. Currently work in Cleveland as a machinist.
Have caried the M9 and 1911 in the service, even a .38 revolver on watch once. Carried a BHP while working on "The Dark Continent" but prefer and now carry the 1911. I have strong opinions on length, 5" guns only for me.
I like rifles, particularly bolt rifles and the AR/M16 platform. I've used the AK47 and was underwhelmed. Reliable, makes a good club.
I like hunting, fishing, shooting, reading and history.
I'm a scorpio (oops, wrong forum) 
Surfing the net is my down time for an hour or so when I get off work in the mornings. Not a technophobe, but seldom on the 'puter other times.

Welcome from Rocky Top Tennessee. I dial 1911 in emergencies relating to the emergence of unauthorized and uninvited intrusions into my space. Carry a 4 inch but have several 5 inch versions. The 3 inch shorties just do not seem to be all there for me.
