    Lone Star Greetings

    Hi All (or is that y'all)

    I'm a transplanted Texan who has recently become involved in shooting sports in general and concealed carry in particular. Over the past few years I have had a few different handguns and now have a Kahr cw9 and a Taurus PT145. Both are reliable and accurate, the Kahr's a bit easier to conceal. My paperwork is in the mail, and I am waiting on my CCW permit from Austin.

    It's great to find a site with so much information available just for the looking. New shooters have lots of questions on gun brands, caliber, ammo, etc., that it can be really confusing.

    Hope to be involved in some good conversations in the future.
