Thought I'd sign up since the title of this forum suggests this is a place I should enjoy ;)
I have had a CCWP in the state for 13 years now. Gave it up for a year voluntarily after a mishap with some old idiot friends and almost getting into trouble. We have very generous firearm laws in IN but we also have some very ignorant people and when they happen to be your (ex)friends, a few local college town police, etc. you might end up inconvenienced for a little while.
I usually carry the Glock 32 that I've had for 5 years now. I've carried a few others here and there but none have shot as well as the G32 with the plain rear Warren Tacticals and front Trijicon dot.
The 1911 fad got old really fast and the Beretta 92fs is just a host for my suppressor...
Now I've got a S&W M&P 45 that I really like but have only put 650 flawless rounds through it. I have no additional mag carrier and I shoot a little low with it as I seem to pull...
I carry in a Bladetech Shirt Tucker holster and both guns carry very well. The G32 disappears and the full size M&P is no problem, surprisingly.
I have never had to use any of my firearms but I did have to make it known that I had a Glock in my hand one evening when during a fit of road rage, some idiot decided he'd run up to my car at a stop light and stick his entire upper torso in to MF me and my friend in some foreign language.
My favorite guns are my 11.5" AR15 that's got a suppressor on the way and my Bulgarian AK74 sidefolder that will also be able to use the G5.
I mentioned the 92fs...
I've owned a Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded that I customized then traded for the M&P...
1972 Colt 70 Series Government that was Minty Good...
1981 Polish AK47 PMKMS underfolder I built and refinished myself...
I refinish firearms using Duracoat. Since I've gotten the hang of it I've gotten some very nice results.
I've got a 10" Colt RO635 9mm AR15 (CAR15) upper I'm trying to sell. That was fun suppressed but it is hard to get a good soft load to run through it reliably.
I reload 9mm and .45 when I can...
I NEED to reload the 5000 pieces of 5.56mm brass I have lying around...
Maybe I'll post pictures of all of this stuff when I get home...
Also I carry a Benchmade Stryker (the original with the G2 handles not those goofy slippery carved ones...)
I'm BIG into the AR15 and can't wait until the Bushmaster ACR (Magpul MASADA) comes out this summer.
I spend most of my time on M4Carbine dot net. (I hope it's ok for me to say that, they don't compete with this site at all.)
