Greetings from Alabama! I joined this site because my desire to carry was rekindled recently and I also find myself much more concerned about my rights to carry than I previously had been. I grew up around guns, but hadn't owned any until recently. I let my permit lapse since I didn't own any guns (I had only carried an auto my father lent me). However, in March I purchased a S&W 642 and got my CPL back. Now I carry any time I'm not legally prevented from doing so.
