    Thanks and Howdy from Idaho!

    I was looking for an informative site for concealed carry and it looks like I found it! I spent last night looking at the posts here and had a great time doing so. Thanks!

    I have been a gun "enthusiast" for the last 20 years but made the decision to finally get my CWP after a stabbing and a shooting a block from my home and a general rise in violent crime in my area. I have a wife and two small children and have come to the sad conclusion that we are not as safe as we once were. I applied last month and received my CWP on the tenth of this month.

    Unfortunately I seem to like large handguns, so I have been carrying my smallest, a Glock 22, for the last 17 days. I am 6 foot 1 so I can conceal it okay in a Smartcarry, but other modes of carry make me feel nervous so far. I have a nice new leather OWB slide holster that I will try next.
