Two new members from Oregon - Ruger LCP's
Zach and Holly here from Oregon! We're two special education teachers, age 26, and do a lot in the outdoors -- we picked up two of the new Ruger LCP's for carry, and just received our CHL's. I grew up with guns, but never considered concealed carry. We decided to start carrying after months of outdoor expeditions and "half-serious" talks about different "what-if" situations. Well, a few of those "what-if" situations began to seem more and more likely, so we decided to excerise our right to carry while we still can. We're pretty liberal thinkers and work in the school, but have decided that gun ownership and right to carry for actual law-abiding citizens is a right that shouldn't be taken away.
Our little .380's -- if anyone is interested, I can take some video or shots of these guns fieldstripped -- we haven't shot them yet.
I'm sure this has been mentioned countless times, but I'd love to hear how some of you .380 owners conceal carry.

Welcome from NE Florida.

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes!
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.

Welcome, from the Catskill Mountains of New York State! I carry my Ruger LCP in a fanny-pak, with a special compartment. Very light, very easy, and everyone wears them around here, so it's inconspicuous.

Hey, Z&H. Climb aboard ... the discussions are great.
More Oregonians, that's what we need! Well, more Oregonians carrying, that's for sure.
Nice looking pair of LCP's, there! You'll have to do a "range report" with some photos, after you've flogged them the first couple of times. It'll be nice to hear of actual experiences with these new pistols.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
