    Another hello from New York

    Hi folks. I've been looking to get my pistol permit for while, which is how i found this site. Anybody get an unrestricted in Onondaga County? I live off of South Salina in Syracuse, I often feel I'm the only one around here not hiding a gun. Its a truly nasty area. Any tips or insight would be appreciated greatly.

    Welcome from Wayne County, just west of you.

    Nice thing here is I have not seen a restricted permit in this county.

    Most folks I know put down for hunting and general target shooting, they want a full explanation if you mark down self defense, but the other reasons do not place any restrictions on the permit itself.
