    Wanted to say hi -- found this forum in a link from the 1911 forum, glad I did. I've been getting the magazine for a while. It looks like I'll be able to learn a lot here from you all.

    DirksterG30 -- good assumption on the 1911. The III thing is just because I'm the third (my father was junior) and it serves no purpose otherwise, so the only place I can use it is in forum names.
    To QKShooter - avatar is "Gus" - my son. That's when he was little. He's grown up now but still looks just like me!
