    Hi from CT/VA

    Hi everyone,

I've posted a few times but haven't introduced myself yet. Sorry about that! I've been living in VA for the past year, going to school. (My boyfriend is in the army down there.) I'm originally from CT, and I'm working on moving back there. He got me into guns in April, when he bought a P99 at a gun show. I was immediately hooked. In August, for our 5 yr anniversary, he got my a P99c, which I love even more! I just took the required class, and am working on getting my CT permit, which looks like it could be a pain. I don't intend to give them all the info and papers that they "request." I'm looking forward to all the knowledge I know I'll gain from this site!

Well, if you don't give them what they ask for you won't get your permit.

I almost applied for a CT non-residence permit. Nothing was onerous or out of the ordinary. I did have some problem locating the right class for them where I live; and decided that since I can't safely drive through NY and NJ to get to CT, I might as well not bother.

Hi Liz. from Mass. work in Ct. have my Ct permit, if your info packet app. is not 100% they WILL send it back! its all or nothing. PS out of state permits are easier to get because you don't have to go through your home town PD. You apply directly to DPS.

Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
