Hey from Honolulu boy in Southern Middle Tennessee

Aloha, to everbody! Hello from So. Middle TN. I know, your'e probably asking why did a guy from Honolulu move to Tennessee? Well, it is a fairly long story that I will save for another time. All I can say now is that I love the country life. Anyway, alittle about me. i purchased my first gun back in 1980, while I was serving in the U S Air Force.....BTW, I am a 22 year veteran....retired MSgt. My first firearm was a S&W model 28 357 Magnum. I wish now I should not have sold it......Oh well. In less than a year, I started reloading as i had accquired acouple more guns.......Colt Government series 70 in 45ACP.....S&W model 629 stainless 44 mag. I purchased a RCBS Jr. reloading press, than in about a year I bought a Dillion RL550B. By then, my collection had grown to include a Mini 14 in 5.56mm, a Ruger M77 in 30-06 and a TZ 75 in 9mm and 41 Action Express. Well, a lot has happened in the last 15 years....I stopped reloading almost 15years ago and just started back. I was amazed that my powder and primers were still OK.. Anyway, I have either lost or misplaced several components for my reloading press.....Sooooooooo, I guess I'll shell out the green backs and call Dillion.....Well, I do have a lot of questions to ask and I know I will get answer or two from this forum........BTW, I happened to accidentally stumble upon this site. My first question is, does large pistol Magnum primer and Large Rifle magnum primer.....is there a big difference or can I use the rifle ones in my pistol and vice versa? Thanks to all and Aloha Akua,
    Stargzer

    Welcome from Montana.

I suggest you visit our Reloading forum. It's a sub-forum of our Defensive Ammunition & Ballistics forum. You can ask your primer question there.

    Welcome from SE Missouri.

I have reloaded ammo for several years. I use rifle primers for the rifles ammo and pistol primers for pistol ammo. It's safer that way...
