Hello from Florida: another lurker registers.

Seems to be a lot of Floridians around here. Looks like I'll be in good company.

I've been lurking for the past few weeks, as I finalize decision and arrangements to get a CCW. Spent a lot of time on this site a year back going through similar searches.

Basically, I'll be hanging out and trying to answer the following questions:
    - gun
    - holster and carry options
    - where and when to carry.

My main concern for the logistics of carry is finding something I'm comfortable with and making myself stick with it. The second concern is, I work on a college campus that's classified itself as a School, so I can't CCW there without chancing an issue. The added annoyance is, I can't leave my weapon in my vehicle if it's parked on campus. That vehicle is usually a motorcycle. I don't think I like the idea of parking my motorcycle a half a mile away from me, with a gun locked to it in some way. (Hence my search and rediscovery of this forum.)

Fortunately, in the past two weeks, I've identified a holster that works for both guns I have an option to carry. (Ruger KP95 and option B)

Option B is probably going to be a Kahr CW9 or. Second candidate for it is a Keltec 9mm P11. (I've been waffling between purchase of either of these for quite some time.)

Holster will most likely be a crossbreed IWB.

So it looks like I'll be running home for a weapon switch every time I go run errands. I'm of course not planning on carrying on campus, but also want to make sure I'm carrying as much as I can while not.

    Welcome from South Carolina.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. It's going to be hard to find 1 holster to fit both those guns, unless you go with something like the Smart Carry.

I'd just decided on the type ;) will probably order one for both guns. I like the smartcarry design, but don't think I can pull it off comfortably. Having something at 4 oclock IWB just feels right.
