I also stumbled across this great website... several times in search of information. New to concealed carry, CCW "in process" currently.
Just my nature to find out all the info I can relative to any topic I involve my self in. Everytime I did a search ... BANG, this website would appear. Had to join & Congrat's a lot of good info...
I am a single dad, raising an awesome little boy in Southeastern Michigan.
I still have my 1st gun, Colt Gold Cup .45 Stainless and every few years put a few more $$$ into it. I have also obtained two revolvers from my elderly father, both .38 S&W's: a 38yr old model 10-5 4" barrel "Military Police" & a 41yr old Model 14-3 "K38 Masterpiece".
My new gun, intended for carry IWB - OWB is a Ruger SP101 model: KSP-321-X-LG (with hammer spur & Crimson Trace LG-303 laser grip). I know, I know... I have read all the info stating it's too heavy, don't get with hammer, get the hard polymer CT grip... I originally ordered a hammerless & a LG-111. But, this one came in first, and the dealer offered it to me for the same $$$. I took a look at it, felt great with the rubber overmold and hammer for SA. It's Mine Now!!!
I will one day get a S&W Airweight, Scandium, or Titanium .38 MAXIMUM... I shot a handfull of .357 with a Airweight and I don't need to anymore.
Sorry folks... rambling on a bit, on my second large mug of coffee.
Thanks for the welcome.
Keep up the great work...
