We are excited to join the list of supporters of this forum.
Many of you are our existing customers (a few members asked us to join), and hopefully we will have a chance to help out someone here who has not heard of us.
This introduction might sound somewhat commercial, but we promise to respect the rules and not “sell” in the general section of this forum. This post is somewhat long, but it should be our first and last "commercial post" outside of the “Sponsor Buy, Sell & Trade”.

In spite of the name for our largest store – www.OpticsPlanet.com, not only we offer pretty much every single brand name rifle scope, binocular, red dot sight, EOTech's, night vision, spotting scope out there, but we are also one of the largest authorized online dealers for holsters, mounts, 5.11/BlackHawk LE/tactical gear and thousands of other cool gun related products that we have in stock in our IL-based warehouse and a few smaller ones around the country.
We have a great bunch of people working here who know guns and gun-related gear in and out (some have cool shooting ranges in their basements – we plan to upload some cool videos soon). Feel free to post, drop a PM or an email if you feel we can help.
November/December are out craziest times of the year now - we are working long hours, trying very hard not to drop the usual level of service, but if we don’t reply here in the forum in 24 hours, please just call or email us directly.

at this time of the year we anwer well over a thousand calls per day, have a LOT of NEW people, so if you have a serious technical question, it is better to email us ;-)

We had a few requests from the members of this forum to post some deals here, and we promise we will. Our prices are usually very good, and we work with slim margins, offer free ground shipping, etc, but we will be happy to see what we can do for you this holiday season ;-) Also, we are unable to openly discount many product lines because of our Authorized Dealer Agreements. Meanwhile, if you would like to “request a deal”, please PM us through this forum with your email address, the item number and the link, and we will try to give you our best price. Our stock changes (in and out) every minute this time of the year, but most of our products (except some unusual or hard to find holsters, etc) are in stock, and we can normally ship within 24 hours.

Once again, we normally don’t do any selling on public forums, and it will be our first and last post in the general portion of the forum. I hope we answered all of the initial questions that we normally get ;-) There will be a few of us posting here as time allows, and we will hopefully become more active non-selling forum members after the holidays ;-)
