    New guy from GA

Hello all, I came across this forum while debating with myself what appears to be known as the "caliber war". anyway, I got to reading and found that there appears to be a wealth of knowledge here. so I joined. I currently have a cobra .380 and while it might get the job done in some most cases, i would like something more. like the title says I'm from Ga. and am stationed at Moody AFB, although currently i am deployed to a lovely little place in africa. Although i do own a pistol and an AR-15 i still have a LOT to learn about guns as far as ballistics and all goes. I'm hoping to do some learning here.

Welcome from an "old" USAF retiree and Vietnam Vet in South Carolina.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

    Welcome!

Ah yes, Moody! I was in an ANG rescue unit for a few years; we "played" with Moody a bunch of times. Proudly wore a "USAF RESCUE, Moody AFB" t-shirt in Iraq in 2003.

    Welcome from Montana.
