    Not yet a gun owner

Hello, I'm Vince or BRTCP88. I'm starting to look into buying my first gun. Anyone here have any suggestions for a cheap, easily concealed gun, but one which still has a good sized punch?

Around $500 is my absolute limit, but something in the $300 range would be better.

    Welcome...

    from Central Florida!

Don't think cheap, but rather quality/dependability. Keep reading the forums here, and then head to a gun shop and start holding the different makes and models...one will start calling your name.
When you find a few that you like, then ask here about quality and dependability.
I do think that you will end up with something in your price range that can be a dependable self-defense weapon.

You may wish to consider the Ruger LCP .380. But read up in the forum. You will get lots of good advice. Go to a store and see what feels right to you. Try out at a range, if possible.

Welcome, and I'll suggest a used pistol in .380, you can get hollow points for it.
