Hey all,
Glad to finally come across a quality CCW forum. I am a 20 year old male in college studying software engineering. To be honest, I had never considered owning a gun until a couple years ago and never considered carrying a gun on me until recently. As I have gotten older and more independent I have also found myself feeling more aware and responsible for my safety as well as that of my family and those around me.
I am learning as much as possible about the pros/cons of various pistols, calibers, bullets, etc. and plan on taking a few firearm safety/skills classes in the near future. I'm also trying to decide what pistol would best fit my needs, here is the thread I started to further explain my situation/needs as well as ask for any and all suggestions from everyone here.
