    New member and CCW app on it's way to Tallahassee

    I am new to the forum and have been enjoying the reading so far

    CCW app out and just the wait now. After waiting for about (2) years I decided to take plunge finally. The class was informative but PACKED. The Sat class I took at Shooters in Jax had to cut off at (130) and I think another 50-70 went on their way but disappointed. With the exception of the capacity class, everything else was smooth and painless.

    Now it's just the wait. I have been researching as much as I can to make sure I have all the whats and wherefores covered. I plan on carrying mu Kimber ProCarry in the cooler months but I am up in the air on a summer carry.

    I am favoring the Sigs right now because I prefer a DA / SA pistol. Any other suggesions?

    Welcome to the forum from VA. You didn't mention what caliber your looking for in a DA/SA gun. In a 9m I would recommend a CZ75 P-01 and in .40 a CZ75 P-06.

    9mm fan

    I am a huge 9mm fan but I can't find a small enough 9 to fit my criteria so I am pondering 380.

    My only suggestion is, if possible, shoot the gun at the range before you buy it. It will let you get a feel for the gun and see if it fits your hand and shooting style. The search is always one of the best parts.
