I am new to your defensive carry site, but not new to concealed carry.
After carrying for a couple of years, it seems strange when I can't. In Virginia you can't in any restaurant that serves alcohol, certain malls, ect., ect.... Va. is trying to change that restaurant law but I know our Gov. (Tim Kaine) will never sign it. When I can carry, I carry a Wilson CQB compact or a Kimber Ultra II. The Kimber doesn't print as much but I like the Wilson more. I enjoy your site

Its a shame that youth is wasted on the young.
Welcome from central Mississippi.
Welcome to the forum from the Richmond area. You can always switch to open carry when going to a restaurant that serves alcohol. That's what I have done since moving here in 98 and no one has ever said anything about it.
