    Thumbs up New Member from Idaho

    After viewing topics on this forum, and picking up much good information, I decided to join this forum. Although I did some bird hunting as a kid on the farm, I never owned a handgun until 6 months ago. I purchase a Glock 19 after reviewing many choices. At that time my wife reluctantly agreed that it might be prudent to carry a firearm when we camp out and ride our atv's in the mountains of Idaho. We just purchased 10 acres in the desert and hope to build there this year. The location is great for target practice, atv riding, and enjoying fresh air and peace and quiet. The other day my wife indicated if we are going to live out in the country that, perhaps we should invest in a few more guns, maybe a shotgun and perhaps a long gun or 9mm carbine. She also indicated that, given the political climate, we should make the purchases soon, and buy lots of "bullets." My wife - I think I'll keep her!
    I like this forum because you folks tend to be polite, even when you disagree with other posters.
