New member in Wisconsin
Good evening to all! My name is Bob, and I joined this forum because I dream of the day when there will be a CC permit available to me as a law abiding citizen of the state of Wisconsin in these great United States. Unfortunately I am being held "captive" in the Peoples Republic of Madison, where voting Republican is still not in style. The governor of this state has twice vetoed the CC law passed by the state legislature. The next gubernatorial election isn't until 2010, November. I am looking to add my voice to the growing number of pro-CC advocates.
I am a 48 year old practicing dentist in southern Wisconsin. A lot of my patients are police officers. I count 2 Chiefs of Police as my patients and friends. I have a good friend who is a investigator for a major police force here. They all either support or do not oppose the CC law for Wisconsin. We are still one of two states with no CC law, the other being my southern neighbor in Illinois. :boese51:. Here's hoping we see the light before the politically challenged state of Illinois does!
I own a Kahr P45, and a S&W 659...one for home, the other for the office. I try to practice regularly at my local shooting range; great stress relief! I look forward to reading many interesting things here, and maybe pick up a few pointers on getting this state turned around.

Do yourself a favour. Stock up on non resident permits (Utah, Florida, etc.) until Wisconsin comes on board.:hand5:
