    New Guy from Missouri

    Hi All!

    Attending the state-mandated class on Saturday and will be applying for my CCW next week. I don't know why I'm so excited, like a kid on Christmas Eve.

    Anyway... If anyone has any recent experience obtaining a CCW in Missouri how long did it take to come back? If you're in Jackson County, all the better.

    If your in Jackson County better count on waiting the full 45 days or close to it. Here's a tip though. You have to write them two checks, one will clear immediately and the other will clear when your permit is ready. Watch your bank account and as soon as the second check clears, give the Sheriff's department a call. I can guarantee this will work, but it has been the case in the past.
