Waiting for permit in Tennessee
I'm a semi-retired trucker living near Nashville, TN and have talked about getting my carry permit for several years. Finally got off the dime and decided, along with 19 of my neighbors, to do it. I've tested, fingerprinted and paid my fee, just waiting for the permit to come in the mail. While I'm waiting I'm enjoying reading all the posts and researching methods of carry and all the other stuff related to the major responsibility of packing. Learning a lot from you guys and feel like I'll be pretty well informed by the time my permit arrives. Don't know if I want to carry my .45 or invest in a small pocket 9mm. (or maybe both) Seems to boil down to $$$$. As I mentioned earlier, testing with 19 of my neighbors makes our neighborhood much more secure. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your community.

Welcome from central Mississippi.
That's great that you got 19 neighbors involved. I guess your neighborhood will be a lot safer now.
