    Greetings from SE Pennsylvania

    Yo Philly, what's shakin'?

Hello All, realitive newbie, only been into it for about 4 months now but I've jumped in head first w/ a P99 and just picked up a P2000. Joined a range, joined a league and now I'm looking to do IDPA stuff. Glad to be aboard here.

    Hi carrmat....welcome.

Which gun do you prefer? The P99 or P2000?

Yes, yes. Please tell us which you like better. I am price hunting for a P99 right now. I would like a nice German made pistol, and it will be a carry gun. I know they're both a little on the large side for a carry gun- but this is my first pistol and I am placing more value on it being a piece that I can really enjoy at the range. I checked out the compact P2000 and it was just too small for me. So which would you recommend for an everyday shooter and carry gun between the two? Is it worth the extra couple hundred for the P2000 in the opinion of someone who knows both?
