Believer in Concealed
New to the forum but been around HK Pro for a while. HK USPc .40 at the small of my back, HK USPc. 45 SS at the bedside. Spyderco Endura4 G-10 in the back pocket. Seen some hideous injuries and deaths and don't intend to ever become one of them or allow it to happen to those I'm near. Newly commissioned in the Marine Corps and working on the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program but also looking for other edged weapons courses of study. Any pointers? Also wondering as to other edged weapons I should consider aside from the usual suspects of Spydeco, Benchmade, Emerson, SOG and Kershaw. Wondering if serrated or plain blade makes a difference for self-defense and an automatic or a folder or a fixed blade is better for defensive carry. Opinions are less valuable than facts.

Greetings and Welcome from Fayetteville, NC!!!
Have you ever thought about Escrima/Kali/Silat a.k.a. Philippine Stick Fighting? There are alot of good knife fighting moves in there.

The first rule of knife fighting.......have a gun!
Seems to me that they taught me that in TBS 25 years ago. Still holds true today!
Good luck and welcome. Have a cold beer at the Command Post for me.
