Welcome from Kansas.
God bless our troops!
Thanks for the warm welcome. And also the encouraging words. They help more than you know.
Sig.......Fibro it is. At least that's what the doctors say. But I don't call it that because it sounds so whimpy for something that can knock down the toughest of tough. Not speaking just of myself, but I know quite a few men that used to be strong and not easily put down.
But this illness will knock down the badest of the bad. It's evil.
Imagine starting each day as if you have already ran a marathon. Now your suppose to go out and face the day.
I'm sorry I missed your name,,,,,,,but someone asked if it's treatable.
Not really. No cure. They don't even know how you get it.
One day your working construction 10 hours a day in the 100 degree
miami heat, then you come home and run 8 miles a day. Play football on the weekends.
Then the next day......overnight you can't barely get dressed by yourself. Strange.
Somedays are better than others. I treasure the days I can do a few things. Other days it's bed all day.
No use whining. Dosen't change it. I just pray alot and try to accept and know that it can always be worse.
What dosen't kill you only makes you stronger? Who said that?
I'll tell you guys something funny though. I'm a better man than I was before I got sick. You learn alot thru suffering.
We all have our crosses to carry. Carry them with dignity and humility. I hope I can do that and inspire someone along the way.
There are many heroes unknown to us in this great Country.
Ok I'm off the soapbox now:)
Thanks again guys.
