    Cool Hello everyone.

    I'm Steve also. I see another Steve recently joined the group. I'm in Miami Florida born and raised.

    I just took the cwl class and sent the paperwork off about 3 weeks ago, so I hope it dosen't take to long to get my license. Also hoping I don't get lost in the red tape and never see it.

    When i have that license in my hand I will be so amazed at what I accomplished.

    See about 8 years ago I got sick and have been sick ever since. It's kindof like MS. My muscles hurt and don't work right. And alot of other strange symptoms.

    So for me to get thru that class which was about 5 hours was incredible for me.

    I've been shooting since I was a kid. But with this illness it's a whole new ball game.

    I went to the range the other day and shot probably 100 rounds. and for me that was about 75 to many. I'm left handed and my left chest felt like someone punched me over and over. I was sore for days.
    So i learned next time i won't shoot so many rounds.

    No I wasn't shooting a shotgun, but it felt like it:)

    I was shooting my glock 23 and my Dan Wesson 45 my pride and joy. The dan wesson is such a smooth gun and pretty too:)

    Don't take this as whining or looking for pity, that's not why i mentioned my illness. I mentioned it because it's part of who I am now.

    And really affects my ability to shoot. Also why I want to carry a concealed weapon, because I don't feel I can defend myself anymore physically.

    Well that's enough for now. Glad I found this place.

    Hope to learn something from you guys and contribute what I can.
