Welcome from Las Vegas, Nevada! Howdy neighbor. Getting a CCW permit in California isn't the easiest thing to accomplish. They have the policy of being very selective as to who is approved for a CCW permit. It will take some doing on your part. I really don't know what to tell you when it comes to the process in your state when it comes to applying for a CCW permit. California isn't a "shall issue" state so they are rather discretionery as to who they approve for a CCW permit.

You might want to check into non-res permits from Utah and Florida. Great coverage, except for CA (sorry), and you can get them without leaving CA.
CCW permit holder for Idaho, Utah, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Hampshire. I can carry in your country but not my own.
