    Steve, welcome from Pennsylvania. The S&W M&P is an excellent choice for a semi .40 as well as the Glock 23.

    Hey Resto. Welcome. I'm north of Durham but spend my time in Bertie Cty when the season is open. I've also settled on an Airweight for carry. But the S&W that you're considering seems to be an excellent choice. I've been eye balling one at my local shop. I bought into that caliber, which I've come to like, but in the wrong gun. A Kahr that's now sold. My research in that M&P shows it's very solid and I can't find many that have had issues. A little slimmer than the XD's. Priced about the same. It's mainstream so you can find goodies to fit it (holsters, etc.) Good pick.
