    Nooby in VA-Waiting for call ok'd by state LEO

    I have been checking out this forum for a while and wanted to say HI from VA Beach. Lots of info to learn here. I have had my CHP since Jan. I just bought my G27, grip extenders, IWB holster, 250 target rounds, 50 SD rounds. Just waiting for state police to give me the ok so I can pick up the gun. Slightly nerve racking being first gun and all. Would like to meet up with fellow beachers for target practice. I get a free week at superior pawn, and 1/2 price membership for the year. Not a bad deal.
    CHP holder. EDC G27. I support VCDL, so glad to have them fighting for my rights.

    If you are in Virginia what are you waiting for?

    You just walk into the gun dealer, pick your weapon, fill out 2 forms (and being a CHL holder your insta-check will be just that, instant) the dealer runs you app on the computer to VSP and presto you are done, you pay for your purchase and walk out the door a happy camper.

    Since you are a CHL holder the 1 handgun a month law does not apply to you either.

    So I am curious what you are waiting on VSP for?

    Thanks all, feels good to be able to defend me and mine under god given 2A.

    NosaM-They told me could be 20 min, could be 3 days. I figured the same having CHP. I left and they called within an hour or so. Now I am the proud new owner of the baby glock. Want to leave early to put a few rounds in paper.

    Aznav-I actually live in GR, now you know why I NEED a gun. lol. Its not too bad in our cull-de-sac or part of town. Worse where townhouses are. But thanks!
