I'm new to these forums and I have been shooting for (sigh, has it been that long) for almost 50 years. Not consistently, but I was introduced to firearms at the age of seven and took up the sport in the 70's and carried through the 80's. I recently received a stainless steel Kimber Eclipse Pro II and that has fired up my interest again. Realizing that I have not been an active shooter for a number of years, I am trying to get up to speed, having only shot ~ 125 rounds through the new Kimber. However, I pulled out my old civilian issue Colt government model, which was manufactured in 1928 which came to me with ivory grips and realized how well that old thing shoots. Not a Kimber, but a worthy defensive weapon. Anyway, I'm learning and have recently started tactical shooing at a local range. Just wanted to say hello and I'll be here, lurking. Thanks for your time and hope to speak with you soon.
